Cathedral Falls
With a height of 60 feet, Cathedral Falls is one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in the state of West Virginia. Tucked away in a little ravine, Cathedral Falls towers down a canyon into a creek below that leads into the New River. The convenience of this waterfall being located just off the main road makes it worth the visit.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Cathedral Falls is located just one mile east from the Gauley Bridge and is conveniently located just right off of the main road of Route 60. This main road travels from White Sulphur Springs, Virginia through the state line all the way through Charleston, West Virginia. It is definitely worth the stop if you are passing through here. If you are coming from the South, Cathedral Falls is 33.8 miles north of Beckley, West Virginia which is about a 45 minutes drive away. This waterfall can be seen from the main road and parking area and is just a short walk over to the falls.
