By far one of my favorite waterfalls in the entire world that I had the pleasure of revisiting while in Iceland! Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland that drops a good 60 meters (200 feet) from the rocks above! There is no hiking required and seeing this picture perfect waterfall is just a short walk from the parking lot.

Seljalandsfoss is famous for featuring a cave that lets you walk behind this magnificent waterfall!

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Seljalandsfoss is located 121k south of Reykjavík and is about an hour and a half drive from the capital. Seljalandsfoss is conveniently located right off of the main ring road and can be seen from afar when driving from a distance. If you are coming from the South, Seljalandsfoss is located 60.2 km from Vik and is about a 44 minute drive.
