Ragnar Trail West Virginia

Ragnar Trail West Virginia

This was my second year running the Ragnar Trail West Virginia race and it was good to be back in the beautiful Appalachians of West Virginia! For those who not heard of a Ragnar Trail race, Ragnar Trail is an all day and night team relay race consisting of two days and two nights of camping out in the great outdoors and best of all, RUNNING! Hawks Nest State Park

Hawks Nest State Park is a park I stumbled upon while driving along Route 60. Cathedral Falls

Cathedral Falls

With a height of 60 feet, Cathedral Falls is one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in the state of West Virginia. The convenience of this waterfall being located just off the main road makes it worth the visit. DRIVING DIRECTIONS Cathedral Falls is located just one mile east from the Gauley Bridge and is conveniently located just right off of the…

Brush Creek Falls

Brush Creek Falls

I came during winter time and was lucky to have this waterfall all to myself. This waterfall definitely looked like it could be a popular swimming hole during the summer time. DRIVING DIRECTIONS Brush Creek Falls is located just off of the main highway of US 77 and…
