Goðafoss in Icelandic means the waterfall of the Gods and flows from the Skjálfandafljót river located in North Central Iceland. This waterfall has a height of 12 meters and width of 30 meters. By far one of my favorite waterfalls in the entire world that I had the pleasure of revisiting while in Iceland! Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland that drops a good 60 meters (200 feet) from the rocks above! There is no hiking required and seeing this picture perfect waterfall is just a short walk from the parking lot.
