With a height of 60 feet, Cathedral Falls is one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in the state of West Virginia. Tucked away in a little ravine, Cathedral Falls towers down a canyon into a creek below that leads into the New River. Brush Creek Falls is located in the Brush Creek Nature Reserve in West Virginia and has a height of 25 feet. It was a fairly short walk on the trail to the falls. I came during winter time and was lucky to have this waterfall all to myself. This waterfall definitely looked like it could be a popular swimming hole during the summer time.
