The second highest waterfall in the state of Pennsylvania with a vertical drop of 130 feet (39.6 m)! Dingmans Falls is located in the Delaware National Gap Recreation Area. With it being winter time, I was lucky to have this magical frozen waterfall all to myself!
It was very cold out that morning. The hike was fairly short and only about 0.65 miles to the waterfall. I remember lighting up with excitement when I started to hear the roaring rush of the icy falls. I had to be careful not to slip because everything was very frozen!
I used my Go Pro on a selfie stick to get this shot. Gives you a good view of the icy falls down below!
Length: Around 1.3 miles round trip
Dingman Falls is located 25.8 miles North of East Stroudsburg which is about a 38 minute drive. Dingman Falls is located off of Silverlake Road which takes you down a dirt road called Doodle Hollow. Dingman Falls does have a visitor center, but I was not able to visit with it being closed during the winter time.
